This great wine is made of 100% chardonnay and made of grapes from only the 2012 harvest. This is a Premier Cru from the esteemed Cotes Des Blancs, close to Epernay and 5 miles from Le Mesnil where Krug makes it famous wine.
Tasting notes: The golden yellow colour and very fine, persistent mousse are signs of the classic Chardonnay character of this champagne. Although it's excellent right now, you can keep this wine for another 2-5 years if you wish to develop the wine's aromas and you won't be disappointed.
The nose is intense, expressive and slightly toasty, with aromas of tropical fruits. The palate is round, smooth and vinous with a powerful finish.
