2016 Chateau La Fleur Peyrabon - "Pauillac"

It is from the 5 hectares of vines of the prestigious Pauillac appellation that the Cru Bourgeois Château La Fleur Peyrabon is produced. It thus joins the small circle of 5 Crus Bourgeois that make up the AOC.

Château La Fleur Peyrabon is aged for 14 months in French oak barrels, 50% of which are new barrels.

Density, structure, depth, Château La Fleur Peyrabon presents all the qualities of a great Pauillac wine. On tasting, the wine offers an intense and concentrated aromatic bouquet while the mouth displays a superb structure with beautifully crafted tannins that allow it to blossom over time.

Château La Fleur Peyrabon 2016: a Pauillac with magnificent tension.

Château La Fleur Peyrabon is a red wine produced in the Pauillac appellation.

This cru bourgeois benefits from a vineyard that is 20 years old on average, covering just over 7 hectares and planted on sandy gravel on a clayey subsoil.

The harvest of the 2016 vintage took place in two phases.

The Merlot was harvested from September 29 to October 6, while the Cabernet Sauvignon was picked on October 12, 15 and 18. At the tasting,

Château La Fleur Peyrabon 2016 develops floral fragrances. Very fresh, the wine is medium-bodied and extremely elegant.

The tannins are magnificent, as is the tension on the finish. It will drink well until 2027-2032.
