  • Appelation: Saint Emilion Grand Cru Classé
Tasting note: Everything about this wine is great from the start, with its showy aromatics to the opulent, sensuous, rich layers of fat, ripe, sweet, fresh fruits. Yes, I know its young. But all great wines show well young and get better with age. There are not many wines at this level of quality that sell for this reasonable price

  • Bois Cardinale is made partly from young vines and presses, and is created with the same care as that given to all of our vineyards. This Saint-Emilion Grand Cru is matured in barrels made of French oak, 70% of which are new barrels. Bois Cardinal, with its dark red and crimson tones, fresh fruit bouquet and hints of undergrowth is a wine that blossoms fully after being laid down for two to three years
