Chocapic was first created in France in 1984 before expanding to Portugal, in Avanca, shortly after in 1996.
It is also sold in Asia and the Middle East under the name Koko Krunch.
The brand's iconic mascot is Pico, a playful dog who is completely obsessed with chocolate, whereas Koko Krunch features a koala-like mascot named Koko.
