Description
Ortiz Marinated White Anchovies (boquerones) are carefully prepared and filleted to maintain all their freshness and flavor. They are marinated in wine vinegar and once they are at their best, they are packed with olive oil, garlic and parsley.
Once opened, to preserve their flavor for up to three days, they are kept covered and refrigerated with the anchovies submerged in olive oil, adding more if necessary.

Fish source: The anchovies (Engraulis encrasicholus) are caught in the Cantabrian Sea, known for its cold, nutrient-rich waters that produce high-quality, plump fish. They are traditionally line-caught or caught using sustainable coastal methods during the fishing season.
