Description
Fougerus was originally made in the 1960’s for family consumption by the Rouzaire family. It has a mild, sweet taste, and is slightly less salty than many traditional French bries.
Made and matured in the village of Tournan-en-Brie, in the heart of the Brie region, Fougerus has a distinctive bracken fern leaf (fougère in French) decoration on top of its ivory paste, a soft and supple texture, and at its peak will reach an almost runny consistency.
