The history of Maison Toussaint began in 1996 when Pascal Toussaint opened his first artisan bakery near Dijon.
In 2005, he created a gingerbread loaf, for which he received a Gold Medal in 2008. That same year, his gingerbread loaf was renamed "Gâteau aux Epices" (Gingerbread Cake) due to its incomparable softness. Driven by the desire to promote his creations beyond the Burgundy region, Pascal Toussaint decided to open his own bakery and boutique in Arcelot in 2014.
In 2020, Pascal's son, Pierre-Emmanuel, decided to join the family business to work alongside his father as sales director, with the goal of one day taking over the reins of the company.
