The ventresca (belly or Toro in Japanese) is the softest and tastiest part of the Tuna. We prepare it by hand, with great care and attention, to offer an exceptionally high quality product. Ideal for those with demanding palates.
Our Tuna (Thunnus albacares) is one of the most commonly preserved tuna, as it is highly appreciated for its flavor and texture. It is recognizable by its characteristic yellow fin. It is a migratory species with extensive movement, so it can be caught at different times of the year.
We prepare our tuna belly using traditional methods, with great care and attention to detail. Our most expert hands are in charge of cleaning and packing this unique quality product by hand.
Once opened, in order to maintain its flavor for up to five days, we recommend keeping the tuna in the refrigerator, preferably covered and completely submerged in olive oil, adding more if necessary.
